Haril Zense was first encountered in the Scarlet Sword bar, located in the city of Livien Magnus on Veron. Zense was the squad's contact on Veron, who they were told would help them find the traitor Var Narek.
While initially seeming like nothing more than a gruff drunk, it was revealed that Zense was a tough and knowledgable rebel agent. He told the party about a bombing incident that killed members of Narek's family, which he felt was a frame job as he was not aware of any rebel plans to perform a bombing on Veron. Zense said he would look further into the incident and the possible location of Narek but would need a few hours to do so. Zense also claimed he didn't know the identity of the Imperial agent responsible for the framing, but that if the squad could hack into an Imperial database, they could potentially follow a trail to discover the identity of Narek's handler. Another avenue of research he suggested was Borrigan's restaurant, where some of the city's movers and shakers go.
