The Academy of Sion was founded a century ago by a conclave of wizards who sought a more practical application for their arcane knowledge. The Academy focuses on technological application of magic for the benefit of
the Imperium. Located in the Imperial capital of
Sion, the Academy has rapidly grown to be a major power in the Imperium. As the youngest of the major institutions of the Imperium, the Academy is eager to curry favor with the Emperor through the creation of new and radical devices and techniques.
All artificers and some wizards train at the Academy, as well as many other classes with an arcane aspect or technological focus.
