Depending on which belief, the Saitlon Empire is said to have begun around 9000 BGD. The Irathians and Rathianic beliefs say they had migrated from Hailaid to Saithon around this time, while the people who believe in Oranth and Hethna, say their culture is much older. It is difficult to get clear evidence of the true origin, since it is either way very old, and no records have probably survived.

Conquest of the Eastern Saithon
Military actionThe Satlonian people has waited for some time before they started their big conquest campaign of the East Saithon. They wanted to make sure they would not loose on the battlefield, and so they prepared.
They wanted to conquer this part of Saithon because another culture had slowly begun to evovle, and they wanted to be the one and only culture across the world. Another reason were the ressources they found in the area, such as copper, to make their weapons even better.
The conquest of the East went smoothly, at least according to the few survivng Satlonian sources, and not long after they planned a further expansion conquest. -

Second Conquest of the Eastern Saithon
Military actionThe second conquest happened when they tried to take the mountains to the far east of Saithon. The campaign did not goas planned because they could not cross the mountains, and instead they returned home to plan their conquest better.

Invention of Ships
Technological achievementNo one is sure of the exact date Satlonia discovered how to make ships, that proved to be useful for the treacherous waters near Saithon. They managed to build rather large ships out of wood making them able to travel further than before.

Military actionThe second atempt to take over the the lands behind the mountains went far more smoothly with their newly built ships. It took the Satlonians less than a year to conquer the rest of Eastern Saithon.

Conquest of the Southern Saithon
Military actionThe conquest of the south did not really present any challenge, due to the rumour that was starting to spread. The little unorganised cultures around the main island submitted themselves to the Satlonian culture in order to avoid blodshead. The conquest only took about a week.

Conquest of the the southern isles of Saithon
Military actionWhile the Satlonians were far better equipted for battle, the few cultures living on the southern Saithon isles had the advantage of knowing their forests better. it became a more difficult campaign than the Satlonians had anticipated, and they spent over a decade trying to conquer the isles. They did not fully achieve it, because over the years the little cultures on the isles kept their own traditions, and the Satlonians could not keep an eye on them.
It led to several conquest campaigns for several centuries until they started warring with other nations to the east. -

Technological achievementThe cultivation of flax brought the ability to produce linen threads and ultimately clothing of this. It is still one of the most used fibres to make clothes of.

Conquest of Parna Navuov
Military actionThe people of Parna Navuo did not expect to be invaded from the east, and was completely unprepared. It still took the Satlonian some time to conquer the island, but within a year they had achieved their goal and after a few months to recuberate, they planned their next target.

Conquest of Anoshas Tidao
Military actionAnoshas Tidao proved to be far more difficult to take than Parna Navuo simply because they ran into the same problem as the southern Saithon isles. The thick forest had its way to hinder their progress and find the people, who attacked them with slingshots and small hollow clay balls that broke when they hit the target. It took the Satlonians over a decade to conquer this part of the land.

Conquest of the Eastern Kendao
Military actionThe Satlonian went ashore on the largest island in the Kendao island group to the south. However, finding the settlement for the area they arrived to proved also a challenge, for yet again they came across the problem of thick forest, which was almost impossible to pass through unless you knew the area. They had a few people from the two conquored island which they used to survey the area and help them through the thick forest.
It took them several months to find the settlement Setun Davuo, where they started to invade. The population were far better equipted than all the other to conquer only a part of the southern part of the largest Kendao island. -

Sheep domestication
Technological achievementWith the breeding of sheep domestication came the production of wool. Wool was a better material than flax keeping the cold nights in She'rai at bay while not being too uncomfortable to wear during the day.

The Fall of Satlonia
Era beginning/endThe fall happened a few years after the last Satlonian king comitted suicide. There were a lot of turmoil of who should be the next king, and none could agree resulting in the land was divided yb a few warlords who claimed to be kings themselves. Slowly, the culture changed, and Satlonia was there no more.
