Uendar
The day uendar was created, Eainorian technology was never the same. Uendar is the only known element in existence that has a potentially unlimited supply. All uendar was created from the first tiny sphere of it created in The Creation of Uendar. After those events, the Uendronei discovered that anyone who touched the orb could grow from it more uendar in whatever form they wished. After discovering this, the Uendronei cast a spell upon all uendar that would allow only individuals of their choice use it. If they alone attempted to cast it, it would have been easily broken, but Naks blessed the spell in such a way that only she could break it. Since then, the use of uendar was given to two people: High Lord Kanpon of the Uendronei, and High General Kavasi of the Galactic Armada of Eainor. With it, Lord Kanpon made Biosphere 2, a small-moon-sized ship that contains inside it all the ecosystems of Eainor for study, conservation, and breeding if necessary. General Kavasi used her uendar to make Kandas-Don, Star-Finder. Kandas-Don is the grandest and most powerful vessel in all of Eainor's fleet, but it is rarely used for war; its main job is diplomatic missions. However, if the need arises, Kandas-Don has the capacity to decimate planets.
Properties
Material Characteristics
All structures made of uendar share the characteristic pointed curves and spheres.
Physical & Chemical Properties
Uendar will only break under an outrageously extreme amount of force, but it is brittle and will not bend. Even when a manipulator of uendar only slightly changes the curve of the uendar, it is not bending; the molecules are reorienting themselves. Also, uendar has the ability to be both conductible and un-conductible to electricity, so it can act as both wires and insulation.
Compounds
Though technically it is still the same atoms, uendar can be altered to varying shades of transparency
Origin & Source
All uendar is created from the original miniscule orb found after the events of The Creation of Uendar.
History & Usage
History
The ancient Haendorians have long been the best architects of Eainor. Name any famous structure on Eainor, and Haendorian blood can be found in its origin. Not only that, but these structures would stand for eons before beginning to decay. Ever they strove for bigger and better. However, by the time the advent of the Third Age had come, they had soon reached such a level of engineering that they had nothing left to build. But they did not stop. Oh, no. Instead they turned their eyes elsewhere...
Discovery
In search of new territory, the Haendorians turned their searching gaze away from the big and onto the small. They looked into the smallest units of structure imaginable: atoms. By that time, the proton-neutron-electron composition of all the known elements had been discovered, but how to build atoms was still yet a mystery. The Haendorians sought to solve this mystery, and experiments began at once. One engineer in particular, Dr. Dokuesi, was especially committed to the task. Even when many Haendorians looked still upwards, she studied element structure and atomic fission. Once the public gaze rested on her studies, she could finally find the funds to build a particle accelerator. Yet she did not build it in haste like others. She knew that there was no room for error, so she was meticulous and detailed in her planning, and she oversaw construction down to the last bolt of the accelerator. However, there was once hitch in her plans: she would be able to break atoms down into their smaller components, but she did not know how to reform them. Also, the longer the atoms stayed broken, the greater chance there was of an unpredictable anomaly. Therefore, she went where one goes when science fails--magic. The Uendronei, the Order of the Moon, were eager to help. Such feats of science and magic working together had never been seen before, and if the Uendronei could prove that magic was still relevant, they could reverse the decline of magic in Eainor's population.
Distribution
Law & Regulation
It is strictly forbidden for anyone other than a select few to have access to the control of uendar due to its unique property and endless supply if permission is given.
Ud
Type
Metamaterial
Rarity
Despite its limitless mass, uendar is extremely rare because it is distributed so sparingly
Color
pearlescent white and silver
Melting / Freezing Point
Unlike silver, uendar never changes the slightest in temperature; it is always comforably cool to the touch
