The Vile Bog
Structure
Vraxis, the sovereign, rules the bog with absolute authority. More of a dictator than a sovereign. While Vraxis has absolute control over the bog, he is unable and sometimes unwilling to be everywhere. Due to this, he has personally elected individuals (all dragonkin) to be his harbingers of peace. Ironically, they are about the furthest things from the bringers of peace. It is the Harbingers responsibility to rule over the cities, towns, and outposts in Vraxis absence. While the Harbingers do make daily judgment calls on their own, Vraxis word is law, and anyone who dares to disobey him will find themselves drowning in a pit of acid. The only other group that holds a semblance of power within the bog are the Acolytes of Darkness. The acolytes are a group of religious zealots who believe Vraxis is borderline a walking god. They believe him to be the Messiah of Dragonkin, an individual who will help transcend Dragonkin to another level of existence.
Culture
Citizens of the bog are constantly told from birth that they are lucky to be born where they are. They are taught to believe that Vraxis is the Messiah of this world, and only those who are truly loyal and truly believe in Vraxis as their savior will be rewarded when Vraxis ascends. Citizens are taught to devote everything to their sovereign and do whatever the country asks of them. Learn whatever skill is needed, and donate whatever items are needed. This causes a very large superiority complex among those who believe in the bog.
Public Agenda
To conquer Agodale and assist in Vraxis' ascension to Godhood.
Assets
One of the few valuable natural resources found within the bog is peat, which can be refined into coal. Coal is used to power a vast amount of the country. Vraxis offers a king's reward to any skilled magicians who come to his country and assist in whatever tasks he may ask of them. Vraxis hosts a massive group of magic users from across the world that help fuel his power.
History
Before Vraxis became the Sovereign of the Bog, the country was one of, if not the most magically inclined, among all of the kingdoms within Agodale. Under the previous sovereigns rule, the country was content with the land they held, and they wished to spend a vast amount of their resources researching magic and growing their country that way. Under Vraxis' rule, the country is still incredibly magically inclined, but now they have become very religious. Believing Vraxis is the savior of this world and will lead them all into a better life. Under this belief, many Vilians believe the world can only be saved under Vraxis' rule. Causing a massive sense of superiority to exist within the Vilians. This has led to three major wars and even smaller skirmishes with Vraxis, who is attempting to take over as much land as he possibly can. Wanting everything, from their people to their resources.
