Caecil Alendus
A soldier with a focus in the medical arts and the son of Ethmer Alenda. He was only 16 when he fought and died in the Battle of Aevaly, before the Mass Resurrection brought him back a year later.
Caecil pursued a variety of talents, and nearly settled into a career as a chemist. But there was really no choice but to join in the Duumvirate War. After all, he was ready to fight, his apprenticeship was still two years from complete, and sharing a name with Alenda would make it difficult for him to survive in an Ornity-controlled world.
Developments - Act I
While exploring New Aevaly, Caecil discovered an odd creature. It contained various scraps of fabric, bindles full of keepsakes rattling inside, all bound together in wicker which now functions as bones and antennae. He hadn't seen it before, but he recognized it; this effigy was made out of his old childhood possessions, and for a while he lived through it as a household god. This miniature version of himself, which he calls Cilla, used to be a way for his family to remember him; now it helps him remember his family.
