From the roots to the summit of Mount Nadir, the flawless, black walls of the Absolute Citadel ring the quicksilver column of the Pillar Valorous, shrouded in miles of abyssal stone save where it projects in a bare, unassailable spire a thousand feet beneath the mountain's summit.
