Incarceron

The foothills of Mount Nadir are wreathed in dark mists which seep up from the boggy ground. Poisonous pools bubble, and sucking mud drags at the feet, while bottomless sinkholes wait for the unwary. The dragging mire of Incarceron hungers to keep anything that enters its realm from leaving.
Small wonder that this realm is home to the Sombre Oubliette, the prison hell, where those fiends and luckless mortals who attract the special ire of the infernal are held until all their self is gone. The great pit of Incarceron is the Iron Cage a massive dome of rusted bars and cables enclosing a gaping sinkhole, where those who displease the demonic are buried for eternity.
