Rashalkthi

One of the two great 'recruiting' sites of the demonic hosts, Rashalkthi is the mirror to Shuhkthi. Where the Pit of the spawning pool corrupts and transforms with the addition of the foul detritus of The Abyss, the Crucible of Malice removes and refines, burning away compassion and kindness, honour and obediance, mortality and weakness, to perfect the champions of the Pits. 
The Crucible is a lake of fire within the withering flame of Khorundam, where the burning body of the Colossus Taxaloth fell, and burns to this day. The master of the Crucible is the demon lord Excelsior, a tower of brutal strength and pride who has sole control of who or what is 'blessed' with rebirth within the burning lake of Rashalkthi.
