Redeeming

Redeeming, the Pillar of Lapis Exilis, Foundation of Mercy, is an intricately fluted column of opalescent, indigo stone. Its nature is much debated, especially by the priests of authoritarian regimes such as the Republic for whom mercy seems a luxury. Many thus qualify the nature of mercy, identifying it as understanding or healing.
It is the Keystone of the Sombre Oubliette, a vast prison lorder over by the Archwarden Illuvis.
