The second of the two mother goddesses, Lovina is not known for being kind or patient like her sister, but neither is she known for cruelty. She is the mother who will lift an automobile if it will save her child. She may be harsh and critical, but pushes all her children reach their highest potential.

Although the exact term for the relation between Lovina and Nacha is not always clear, they are most often referred to as being sisters. Together, they are the mothers of Stradan, born as the twins Dinya and Katsya to Kondrati. Their father– and indeed if they even have one– is unknown.
Lovina independently has a child of her own, Loaliv, the deity of the oceans, winter, and navigation, who is believed to have been fathered by Boltun.
