Monarch
Monarchs go by many titles amongst them are: King, Queen, Emperor, ArchDuke or Grand Duke, Sultan and more. A Monarch is a tier one title, and is the head of the State, or Monarchy. Monarchs are the top tier of rule above Duke/Duchess Almost always hereditary Monarchs are crowned as young children, and guided by a Regent until of age to assume the role themselves. Princes, and Princesses usually have their Monarch parents instruct them until their death which results in the coronation of the heir to the throne assuming control.
Monarchs wear an elaborate crown, carry a scepter and typically also have ceremonial robes for high ranking functions. Their Palace in the Capitol is grand and elaborate displaying not only the prosperity of the ruling family, but a status symbol of the entire nation as well. employing the most trustworthy in their ranks, and the royal processions when traveling match many lower nobles entire armies.
