María-José is Martin San Martin's wife and upon the party returning to Vitolonia will greet them as and when she is introduced. She thanks the party and will gift them each a small iron statue (about thumb size: For Renwynn - A statue of KELEMVOR (Lawful god of the dead), For Bungi - A statue of TORM (Lawful God of Courage & Self Sacrifice) and For Bal - A Statue of OGHMA (Neutral god of Knowledge). Each statue is worth about 3gps. However she will say as she gifts them to each player:
Renwynn: "A gift to you, spell caster and warrior of nature from the God of the dead, Kelemvor - may he protect your sorrow and loss and guide them to rest on the Crystal Spire."
Bungi: "A gift to you, fighter, bruiser and enduring one, from the God of courage and self sacrifice, Torm - May he witness your past, take you in his arms and aid you in finding a path forward, away form the pain."
Bal: "And lastly, to you, holy one, aasirr and celestial, a gift to you from the God of knowledge, Oghma. May he study your movements, acknowledge your mission and bring you the lost information you seek".
After these gifts are given she may decide to unveil that she is a witch and can commune with the deities, she will allow the players one SMALL question about their past and possible future requirements. She will then go on to help arrange the funeral with them.
-The party helped Maria-Jose in gaining back Martin San Martin's possessions, after Bungi intimidates the Baroness, she is grateful to them.
Maria goes missing from town afterher house is found trashed by Bungi. She is later found to be in the prison-annexe by Bungi who was also incarcerated by the Baroness. She is broken out of the prison along with bungi and a man named Mim Tai - She is still in need of her spinel and is unsuccessful in retrieving it from her home with Ren, she is now asking the party to escort her to Saron where she can meet up with her family and escape Vitolonia.
