Temple of Light

The earliest records of the Temple of the Light back to just after The Disjunction while most of the world's inhabitants were still reeling for the upheaval and questioning their faith in the gods. These stories tell of a man traveling among the people and collecting the lost until finally he led them to the Trisian Valley where they built Citadel Laluce, the holy City of Light. After the founding, the Herald maintained his role as messenger of the Lord of Light and accepted the role of Pontiff to serve and rule over the poeple of the city.
Over the centuries, the Temple of the Light continued to expand and spread the Lord's word across the continent. The influence of the church now matches that of the Wylousian Pantheon. Despite it's tenets of tolerance and justice, not all of the temple's history is peaceful. In last part of the Century century, the Temple of Light was called upon to join battle against the undead hordes of the goddess Mizaris and her necromantic clergy. The war raged for 30 years before the combined forces of the Light and the followers of Brotan, Galeros, and Higyn drove the last of undead into the southern range of the Shatterforge Mountains.
