Korrus 2
Korrus 2 of The Throat hums with the sounds of arcane machinery and the lively chatter of its residents. Warm, golden light spills from the windows of sturdy stone buildings, casting a soft glow across the wood and stone streets. The massive waterwheel turns steadily at the heart of this bustling level, its rhythmic churning a constant reminder of the industrious spirit that defines the community.
Dwarven engineers, half-elven practitioners, and a wild mix of laborers (humans, tieflings, half-orcs, kenku, gnomes, and dragonborn) mingle together, their camaraderie evident in shared laughter and friendly shouts. The scent of rich stews and woodsmoke drifts from The Iron Cask tavern, while the distant clang of hammers rings from the open forges. Here, hard work meets magic, and every face reflects a shared pride in keeping their piece of Mienica thriving.
Demographics
Primarily dwarves, half-elves, and humans. But does contain a variety in the laborers that eventually settled to work the Waterwheel: tieflings, half-orcs, kenku, gnomes, and dragonborn.
Government
They, as all citizens of Mienica, follow the Queen. In addition, those residents and workers of korrus 2 also run their korrus by democracy, with no representatives. They gather and vote on community changes, and someone will approach the Queen for anything larger.
Guilds and Factions
The Wheelwright's Guild
Run by a dwarven faction, they're responsible for maintinence and repairs of the Waterwheel. The guild includes the laborers and arcane practitioners, as well.Tourism
They have no tourism, as they keep to their own tight-knit community.
Geography
The natural stone floor is sloped and varied, so the korrus has grown to be rather uneven. Regardless, folks over the history of this city have built around the shape of the stone in The Throat, with some areas carved back by the dwarves generations ago.
Natural Resources
A few pockets within the stone have mushrooms and other subterranean plants. Their main resource is the water used to fuel the Waterwheel.
