Damien Runnington

Although young, Damien is a genius inventor, noted for spending much of his time studying technology in Concidorne. He learned much from the gnomes, learning how to use guns, and even learned how to make firearms of his own. Although he was largely raised by gnomes, Damien decided that he wanted no part in the war, despite being one of the best inventors in creating firearms. He then later travelled the world, eventually joining the sentinels and providing them with his creations, as well as his unique knowledge in the are of firearms.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

A slender, young half elf with swept back dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, Damien is not a typically imposing individual, but his aim with the rifle is practically second to none. He wars a long coat, googles to improve the range in which he can see, and a typical tinker's equipment. He wears pieces of Sylvan half plate over his coat, offering him a fair amount of protection in his travels.

Personal history

Damien spent his childhood in Concidorne, being one of the only non-gnome or halfling residence in the town. Being lost in the city soon after he was born, Damien was raised by a gnomish family of tinkerers, learning a great deal from the gnomes. When Damien reached adulthood, he decided that he wanted no part in the war against the Martian Empire, leaving to go travelling and do some true good in the world.
After learning of the country of Knaeva, and their goal to prevent Enderfall, the siblings travelled south, eventually joining their ranks. There, he became the head tinkerer of the Citadel, making new, mechanised weapons to help defend the fort. Due to forming a close friendship with Bethany Echarlion Beaufort, Damien also makes specialised bloodhunter tools, which are only really used by Caius Vendel.
