Ithilium

Ithilium, quite simply put, is a type of metal, presumably iron, that has been touched by the primordial powers of the astral sea, causing it to glow with specks, as if you were looking at the a clear night sky. Other than its unique appearance, ithilium is known for its ease of enchanting, allowing it to do a great many things, but is exceedingly rare, needing to drift in the astral sea, as well as be touched by the strange power of primordial chaos. Other than the city of Lichtenhower, the City of Lights, ithilium is most commonly used by the elves of The Ithryl Woods, hence its name.
