Mephistopheles, Lord of Gluttony
The All-Knowing
Ruler of the Realm of Gluttony, Mephistopheles is one of the Rulers of the Nine Realms of Hell and, due to an eternal hunger for power and knowledge, is known as the All-Knowing. He hoards this knowledge, and will stop at nothing to gain more and more, often making deals with fallen souls that do not wish to fall into the Banished Vale, exchanging knowledge for a pact to turn that soul into a demon. Because of this constant hunger for knowledge, Mephistopheles was granted the title as the Lord of Gluttony, and named his realm accordingly.
Despite his selfish nature, and his often chaotic approach to gather knowledge, many powerful mages, who wish to grow from mere mortals to true forces of nature, attempt to communicate with Mephistopheles, giving away their place in Elysium in the after to become demons in his realm just for this power, leading to much of his realm being populated with powerful arcane users.
Mephistopheles's Realm of Gluttony is a make of seemingly endless tunnels. The walls of every tunnel form crude shelves holding book after book. Some of the larger tunnels are held up by twisted pillars made from ruined or burned book, that contain, what Mephistopheles deems as, useless information. Although the sky, like every other Realm, is lit up by the descending souls of the damned, you would be hard pressed to find any part of the Realm that exposes itself to the sky.
