Spriggans

Similar to Fey Bears, spriggans are, technically speaking, vengeful spirits of fallen fey, that became one with the many living forests of the feywild, being brought back to life as guardians that defend these forests. Spirggans usually come from the spirits of female fey; however, the spirits of male fey can become spriggans, being dubbed as ents instead, so that they are easier to define. 
Spriggans, being the spirits of fallen, vengeful fey, given life again by the very forest, are noted as being warriors, as many had lived a very long life, at least by human standards, and would have done a fair amount of fighting in that life beforehand. Many theorise that even eladrin, who do not typically live in the forests as other fey do, could become spriggans or ents, but there is no evidence to support this, as spriggans and ents are known for being unable to speak and having little of their personality from their past life.
