The Nichteil
The Nichteil is a realm unlike any. It is different in that it does not contribute to the structure of the world of Aither, but is still very much a part of it. Those privy to the Nichteil's existence have long since theorised about its existence. Some have considered it a section of the Script that was incomplete, leading to its many strange occurrences, while others theorise that the realm is a place warped by Pateras' wrath, after learning of his lover's adultery, causing dimensional warping, similar to that of the Eldritch Horrors. Although the reason for its existence is unknown, what is known is that the Nichteil is a purgatory like realm, where The Ignari, the race of the cursed, are sent.
History
The Nichteil has a storied passed, being first discovered thousands of years ago by the Lesser Gods. The Ignari were first sent to the Nichteil shortly after the Lesser Gods had created mortals in their own image, using the blood of Saol. Horrified about the Ignari curse, and worried about what it could mean for their respective races, the Lesser Gods cast them down, leading to the theory that the Gods themselves created the Cael Bastion because of this, even though others believe that the Cael Bastion was simply always there.
The Nichteil itself never had any structure until a certain group of Ignari were banished there. Surviving longer than any others, the group achieved a level of worship, after interpreting the messages of the stars and relaying what was being told. They believed that the stars would lead them to freedom, and so they came to be known as the Speakers of the Nichteil.
It was said that the Speakers paved the way for others to be freed from the Nichteil, and that they ascended to greater beings after they had forged their own path to freedom. The Speakers are worshipped to this day by the Ignari of the Nichteil, and many follow their teachings in the hopes that they will be blessed and granted leave of the horrid place.
