The Tirmari Council

The governing body of The Tirmari Archipelago, lead by the tiefling Prime Minister, Verela Lanos, and consisting of seven other ministers, the Minister of War, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Foreign Relations, the Minister of Education, the Minster of Internal Affairs, the Minister of Finance and the Vice Prime Minister, the Tirmari Council is the only governing body that is purely democratic, possibly changing out its members once every five years. This has made it controversial in comparison to other rulers; however, due to Tirmar's emphasis on freedom of choice, it is noted as the only area where this system can work.
Based out of the Palace of Ministers at the very heart of the capital city of Zafeíri, the Tirmari Council are more well liked among the common people than most monarchs, due to those in power being given said power due to the voting and whims of the people that they serve. They are not infallible; however, as progress, in terms of political change, is often quite slow, with a prior leader's work sometimes not being carried on by their successor.
