Typhon, Lord of Fraud
The Abyssal Illusionist
Ruler of the Realm of Fraud, Typhon is one of the Rulers of the Nine Realms of Hell, and is sometimes known as the Abyssal Illusionist. This is due to his constant use of trickery, and illusion based magic, getting what he wants through tricking others. Many believe that the form he most often takes, being that of a glowing, vein covered creature, that appears bloated, is an illusion too. Because of this constant use of trickery, he was granted the title of the Lord of Fraud, and named his realm accordingly.
Reveling in deceiving others, Typhon makes pacts with all sorts, and is one of the few devils that actually prefer making deals with living mortals, rather than the souls of the damn, as he is rather unfazed with the lack of demons presiding in his realm. He finds those clinging to life far more interesting, and enjoys manipulating them to change events in the Material Realm, which, in theory, he should have no influence in.
The Realm of Fraud is one that is eternally changing to the whims of its master, constantly shrouded in the illusionary magic of Typhon. Some theorise that the realm is actually Typhon himself, with him simply forming avatars of himself if physical interaction is required. Because of this, the realm is also difficult to predict, making it difficult for other archdevils, let alone lowly demons.
