Valkan

Used by those that reside in The Valkan Isles that have now occupied the northern isles of The Continent, Valkan is a language with a similar script to Common and Martian, but the alphabet used is in a much older form, with many of the letters being near unrecognisable in comparison to languages of a similar script. When being spoken, the language also sounds harsher than the Continent's Common and the Cursed Lands' Martian; however, that many simply be due to how the Valkan people are portrayed, as many perceive them as aggressive, godless barbarians.
Very few in the Continent outside of the Valkan Isles speak Valkan, due to the northern invaders only arriving in the last thirty years. Due to how new the language is to the Continent and how, even though, when analysed, the language uses a similar script to pre-established languages, the alphabet and the sounds that are demanded from the language make it very difficult for those not native to the Isles to learn.
