The Battle of Sealing

After the Gods had made their way through the veils and out of the Proven Fields and into the Material Plane they saw the chaos the The Daemonium brought and fought to give the humans order and peace. Thus the battle of Sealing took place, angels, champions and Gods alike took a stand against the Daemonioum and drove them out of Akara. The Valkyrie were formed to make sure the Daemonium didn't get back into Akara, and new species were created from the champions. The Daemonium still lurk in the Agony grounds feeding off souls of the damned and ever searching for a way back into the Material Plane.

The war raged across all of Akara ravaging every continent.

Aftermath

The Daemonium was sealed away from the Material Plane. The Valkyrie were formed as a new battalion outside the direct orders of the gods. The champions who survived went on to be the first of brand new species.

Historical Significance

Legacy

The battle of sealing took place long before time was even dated and most of it has been lost to legend. It is talked about in holy sermons as a part of the Gods' history, but not much is remembered. Its often told as a story of Demons, Gods and how they came to be.
