The Daemonium

Structure

The Daemonium is lead by the 12 dead elders under there are three subgroups directly under them. First is the Forsaken a group of humans who got sent to the Agony grounds and worked their way up through pain and are now special advisors to the elders. The second are Teras, monsters of legend, usually mindless beasts who live only for chaos but are controlled by the elders. Lastly, we have the Daimonas demon generals in the army of the Daemonium. Under the Daimonas are the Deadeyes, the foot soldiers, and the lowest ranking demons. They also have the 12 houses under their command which are 12 human houses hand-picked by the Daemonium as the worst of the worst of humanity.

History

When Akara was new the Daemonium broke through the veils separating the planes in search of chaos and found the humans on the material plane. Demons feed off the chaos and fear so upon their discovery they decided to terrorize the humans. They took control of human bodies and took control of the world so they could have an endless feast. That was of course before the battle of the Sealing.

Disbandment

After the Gods had made their way out of the Proven Fields and into the Material Plane they saw the chaos the Daemonioum brought and fought to give the humans order and peace. Thus The Battle of Sealing took place, angels, champions and Gods alike took a stand against the Daemonioum and drove them out of Akara. They still fester and feed on the would of the damned in the Agony grounds but they constantly look for a new way back into the Material Plane.
