the Sunblades

the sunblades are the main military and police force in charge of keeping order and security in Ar'Kir. the sunblades are led by the Lord commander, the current lord cammander is lord commander Ashera Zylkalyn, who wields a sunblade.
Equipment
all sunblades carry sunforged blades which are given to them when they are sworn to their oaths. a sunforged blade is deeply personal to the sunblade and is often inscribed with ideals or goals along with their oaths that the sunforgers inscribe during the forging process. losing a sunforged blade is deeply shameful and often leads the sunblade to try and retrieve the blade again. any non sunblade wielding a sunforged blade is seen as deeply treasonous. only the lord commander of the sunblades is allowed to wield a

Ranks

1. sunblade initiate: initiates are sunblades in training who haven't sworn their oaths and don't wield sunforged blades
2. sunblade oathsworn: oathsworn are the rank and file of the sunblades working in small teams lead by an adept
3. sunblade adept: adepts lead teams of oathsworn on missions, patrols and escorts
4. sunblade commander: commanders lead larger groups of sunblades often leading outpost, bases or Barracks within the city
5. Sunblade lord commander: the lord commander is the leader of the sunblades and has the last say in all matters regarding the sunblades and is the only sunblade allowed to wield a sun blade. the current lord commander is lord commander Ashera Zylkalyn.
