Spartan has been a soldier all his life. From the youngest memories, he has been in training academies, mercenary camps and gladiator ludi, climbing the ranks of fighting companies for years. He has served countless tour and although brutally tough in both looks and fighting prowess, has always retained an aloof side that has made him likable among his comrades. He carries little with him as he moves through the lands, and has lost the memory of his younger years, probably due to all the blood loss and concussions. Still, there is a name and a face that tugs at him...Cortana.

After years of mulling it over, he decides it's time for some answers. He will put the life of maiming and destruction behind him and search the land until he finds what he is looking for. Okay, maybe with a little maiming along the way.

After defeating Oblesh, the Spider Mother, John dipped his hand into a mystical pool and his left arm has turned to stone from the elbow down.

Physical quirks

After the incident in Oblesh, the Spider Mother's lair and his arm turning to stone, he has been having irregular spouts of hypersomnia, and will fall into undisturbable slumber. Typically his companions will cover him as safely as they can, and draw a crude map of where thy believe they will be heading, hoping he can read it and catch up.
