Jesters of Chaos
The Jesters of Chaos is an organization that follow Ius, The Prankster.
Structure
The cult had several followers: those in high positions were known as True Souls, though Disciples were above them in the hierarchy. Many of the followers of the Jesters appeared to be stationed in Erwick. Those of the cult appeared to have been branded with the marking of a Jester. It is said that only 5 Jesters are currently active with low-level cultists being the ones who enact the small bouts of destruction around Akeroth and the 5 heads being named the Hand of Ius.
Public Agenda
As their name suggests, they incite chaos. They bow to the whim of Ius and do his will. They do not reveal their human forms to anyone and any that do are killed in an instant. Any who wishes to join must complete a series of tasks before being allowed an audience with Ius himself. They only began their existence recently with their first kill that of Beyhas' son and thus the cult was born.
The followers of Ius were fascinated by the destructive power of chaos in all its manifestations. They aspired to use the power of Ius to eradicate the "corruption" of both civilization and nature using arcane eruptions in order to herald a new world of order ruled by Ius alone. In the cultists' doctrine, the world and all its peoples were wicked and malformed, and the only hope was to purify everything, reducing all to cinders.
History
They are a new creation, formed recently in Akeroth's history. Nothing is known as to how they came to be but it is said that the day Ius changed was when they were born.
