Aurich Stovkin, halfling patriarch of his noble house sends a secret mission to the east to rediscover Akratia, whose position was lost a thousand years prior.

When Aurich discovered his daughter to be a Spark, his life immediately changed. Neither he, nor the previous patriarchs of the Stovkin Family approved of the execution of all Sparks, but with his daughter's life on the line, Aurich knew he had to act fast.   Hiding his daughter away and pulling together all available funds, Aurich hired an expedition to sail east and attempt to rediscover the ancient continent of Akratia. Such a journey over the Sea of Storms was not only dangerous, but forbidden by the Sovereign Court and so Aurich planned for them to slip out of port on the night of the 24th Snowmelt, when both moons sat dark in the skies.   For months, Aurich watched the horizon, hoping to see the sails of his expedition returning, and late in the evening of 3rd Redfall, as the full moons of both Luna and Scintilla rose in the sky, his ships returned bearing news of success. Akratia was found.
