Heart of Aziz

The "Heart of Aziz" is said to be a piece of Aziz' heart that broke and fell onto Alana, when Aziz saw the evil things being done down on that world. The rock is lying on top of the mountain Tanaan, which is only accessible in summer due to snow, ice and chilly winds in the other seasons. The Ondar sits on it meditating while trying to get into the mind state called Eye of Aziz.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

During the Ritual of Aziz, the rock is indeed helping to build a connection, but it is not to Aziz. What is happening is unbeknownst, because the Dashan doing the ritual is passing out during the ritual, and the words and symbols that got written down to the prepared scrolls are not written by her hand at all.

Significance

The rock is an important symbol of Aziz the Dashani. Small replicas of it are sold in the Hall of Aziz.

There is only one Heart of Aziz. There are mountains on Alana that are of similar material, but they all have a brownish yellow colour, the Heart is the only rock of that kind that is dark blue.

Raw materials & Components

The Heart of Azis is a large cubic rock of dark blue, almost black glass-like material, its edges appear to be slightly transparent. The rock is always cold to the touch and very smooth.
