Oakridge is a small, secluded human settlement located in the far northern reaches of the Farenian Empire. With only 25 inhabitants, this tight-knit community has chosen a life far removed from the hustle and bustle of civilization. Approximately 200 kilometres from the nearest larger settlement, Gnomingen, the residents of Oakridge live a self-sustained lifestyle, relying on their own hands' work to meet their needs. Here, time seems to slow down, and the rhythm of life is dictated by the changing seasons and the beauty of the natural world.

Infrastructure
The infrastructure of Oakridge is simple yet sufficient for its small population. The settlement consists of a cluster of sturdy wooden houses, each built by the hands of its residents. The homes are designed to withstand the harsh northern climate, with thick walls and steeply pitched roofs to shed snow.
A communal building serves multiple purposes: a gathering hall, a place for communal meals, and a workshop for various crafts. The settlement also has a small blacksmith's forge, where essential tools and equipment are made and repaired. A well in the centre of the village provides fresh water, and a communal garden supplies vegetables and herbs.

Frostbite Peak
A towering mountain to the east, often covered in snow. The peak offers breathtaking views of the landscape on one side and the sea on the other, and it is a challenging climb for those seeking adventure. It is also home to rare herbs and minerals.The Crystal Lake
Located to the south, this small and pristine lake is known for its crystal-clear waters and abundant fish. During winter, it freezes over, providing a surface for ice skating and a source of ice blocks for preservation.The Grove of the Ancients
Deep within the Whispering Woods is the Grove of the Ancients, a secluded area filled with towering trees that are believed to be hundreds, if not thousands, of years old. This grove is considered a sacred place by the residents of Oakridge, who come here to pay respects to nature and seek guidance from the spirits of the forest. A dense forest to the west of Oakridge, rich with wildlife and towering ancient trees. It is a source of timber, game, and foraged foods like mushrooms and berries. The forest is named for the eerie sounds the wind makes as it passes through the trees.The Windstone Circle
In a clearing to the west, the Windstone Circle is a mysterious arrangement of large standing stones. The origins and purpose of the circle are unknown, but it is believed to have been used for ancient rituals and ceremonies. The stones are covered in withered runes and carvings.Natural Resources
