Nue Ooksteinberg

Nue Ooksteinberg is an extremely abnormal state and many scholars debate if it even classifies as a state. It's more of a corporate tax haven and on official documents it only has a population of 17. The ruler is unknown. Many of the documents legitimizing it are buried under legislation.
It is known that The Obsidian Bank and Halgostar Holdings both keep large sums of gold there. Some have wondered why neighboring Parmo doesn't just invade this small speck of land. The answer is because of the amount of guards and mercenaries stationed there to protect assets. Practically the entire countryside is fortified against invaders or intruders. Few people are even allowed to cross the border without an express permission.
