Stolos

Stolos is particularly influential on the international stage, primarily because they host the headquarters of Halgostar Holdings. Despite the fact that Halgostar Holdings possesses vast swathes of land to the south east, it is more practical for business that they should remain in The Spice Corridor.
A requirement of the patronage of such a large corporation, is that Stolos should accommodate their shipping needs. Harbourmaster reports estimate the distance of port space used exclusively by Halgostar Holdings to be in the area of 15 miles long. Countless more miles of outer city are dedicated to the storage of goods in massive warehouses.
This level of wealth gained from duties imposed on cargo has made Stolos a powerful city, with a comparably high standard of living compared to neighbors. A consequence of the value of cargo that passes through, is that a large port authority guard force must be maintained year round.

City Governance

Stolos is a council led city. The head of the council is Merek Hoffson. Although some in the city believe his appointment was financed by Halgostar Holdings.
