Amphitheatre of Concord

This grand stadium, in the central part of Littlehampton, is a prominent feature of the city, and the largest gladiator stadium in Albion. There is typically at least a game every week in the summer months, and there are even games in dead of winter. The stadium can support around 5000 spectators, and is frequently full on a good game day. The stadium is owned by the crown, and can be rented by any gentry to host games, and those selling food at the games have to pay the crown for the priveledge.

Purpose / Function

Hosting gladiatoral games, as well as as a large central location that can host a large number of people. Also used to for jousting, archery competitions, and occasionally stoolball depending on the crop of gentry and their interests.

Architecture

Just a big slightly oval stadium, pretty simple. It has 20 rows of seating all around, and above the primary gate to the arena are a collection of rich seats and boxes for the higher ups.

Tourism

If you are in town while a fight or game is on, probably best to grab a ticket and see it. The top 15 rows are free for freemen of the city, or a copper penny for an outsider. The next 3 rows are 3 pennies, then the next row is 6, and the last is a full silver shilling. Renting a box or reserving a section is more expensive but also requires nobility.
