Dragonborn

"Bright the flame of Caergwynn burns   and swift its vengeance on the hated.   Great is the hunger of the Wyrms   and never shall they be sated."     —Tales of the Dragons
The favor of a dragon is a mighty boon indeed, and those who have proven their courage and cunning on behalf of one of the Great Wyrms are given the greatest gift of all—a few drops of dragon's blood in their veins. The transformation process is said to be a painful one, and some do not survive it, but those who do are changed into warriors of legendary strength and peerless skill. To face a Dragonborn in battle is to stare down death itself, for to recieve the blessing of the Great Wyrm of Caergwynn is to know no fear. When the Dragonborn fight, they paint the ground red with the blood of their foes; even in death, their blood seethes with dragonfire and vengeance. Few warriors have slain a dragonborn, and fewer still have lived to tell the tale.   Most Dragonborn serve the Great Wyrm of the West, but some travel abroad and sell their blades as mercenaries, demanding princely sums for their services.
Lifespan
Dragonborn have longer lives than most other folk, with the oldest living past a century.
Average Physique
The gift of dragon's blood enhances the physique of those transformed, causing them to grow in height and granting them unnatural strength and endurance. Dragonborn usually stand between 6' and 7', and while they retain the general proportions of their former selves, they are far less vulnerable to extremes of temperature and diseases.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
A coat of armored scales and a fearsome draconic visage set dragonborn apart from other folk, but no two dragonborn are alike. The coloration of a dragonborn's scales will often reflect their skin or hair color in their previous life, and their horns resemble those of the dragon whose blood courses through their veins.
