Spellcasting. Hex is a 10th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is intelligence (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). Hex has the following wizard spells prepared:
- Cantrips (at will): acid splash, mage hand, message, minor illusion, poison spray, prestidigitation
- 1st-level (4 slots): disguise self, mage armor, silent image, sleep
- 2nd-level (3 slots): invisibility, phantasmal force, web
- 3rd-level (3 slots): sending, stinking cloud
- 4th-level (3 slots): dimension door, evard's black tentacles
- 5th-level (2 slots): scrying, teleportation circle
Gnome Cunning. Hex has advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saves against magic. Speak with Small Beasts. Through sound and gestures, Hex can communicate simple ideas with Small or smaller beasts.
Actions
Multiattack. Hex makes three Arcane Burst attacks. Arcane Burst. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 3D10+3 force damage. BONUS ACTIONS Benign Transportation (Recharge 4–6). Hex teleports, along with any equipment he is wearing or carrying, up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space that he can see. If he instead chooses a space within range that is occupied by a willing Small or Medium creature, they both teleport, swapping places. Summon Elemental (1/Day). Hex magically summons an air elemental, an earth elemental, a fire elemental, or a water elemental. The elemental appears in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of the conjurer, whom it obeys. It takes its turn immediately after Hex's. It lasts for 1 hour, until it or Hex dies, or until Hex dismisses it as a bonus action.
