Corellon, the Arch Heart

God of Magic and the Arts

Description

The god of spring, beauty, and the arts, Corellon is the patron of arcane magic and the fey. They seeded the world with arcane magic and planted its most ancient forests. Artists and musicians worship them, as do those who view their spellcasting as an artform, and their shrines can be found throughout the Feywild. He despises Lolth and her priestesses for leading the Drow astray in the time before Albion.   Following his tenets, Corellon encourages his followers to hone their skills and craft great works, whatever that may look like in their field of expertise. They asks their followers in the field of magic to develop a greater understanding of the magic they gifted the world, searching for any lost knowledge once bestowed. Finally, Corellon's hatred of Lolth is legendary among Concordian theology. They ask any followers who discover The Spider Queen's machinations to thwart them mercilessly.

Tenets of The Arch Heart

  • Cultivate beauty in all that you do, whether you’re casting a spell, composing a saga, strumming a lute, or practicing the arts of war.
  • Seek out lost magic items, forgotten rituals, and ancient works of art. Corellon might have inspired them in the world’s first days.
  • Thwart the followers of Lolth at every opportunity.

Your spellcasting ability for these spells depends on the class you chose: Charisma for bard, sorcerer, or warlock; Wisdom for cleric or druid: or Intelligence for wizard. Additionally, when you gain a level, you may choose one of the cantrips you have learned with this feature and replace it with another cantrip from that class's spell list. You may also choose a cantrip from a different class's spell list, but only if after doing so both cantrips are part of that class's spell list. History

The Prime Millenia

Corellon's influence in Albion first came as the intelligence races became settled in the world. While the other creator gods taught these early people skills and morality, they showed the people how to create art and music, bringing joy to their lives.

The Age of Ascension

As the people of Albion continued to flourish, Corellon, with the support of the other creator gods, began to sow the seed of magic into the world. They did this slowly, allowing the new arcane practitioners to master these gifts slowly.   To Be Confirmed

The Post-Aspect Era (The Era of Restoration)

With The Aspect Wars concluded, and much of the world beginning to recover from the last one hundred years, Corellon urged his followers to complete two important tasks. Firstly, to seek out the lost arcane technology which they had created during the Age of Ascension and attempt to bring the world back to the heights it had once stood at, and in the meantime to fill the world with music and artistic expression, in an attempt to bring joy back into a world which had been devoid of any for so long.
