Master of Divination. Uriel has advantage on any ability checks related to the divination school of magic, and also on saving throws against spells from the divination school of magic.

Actions

Multiattack. Uriel makes three Arcane Burst attacks.   Arcane Burst. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5ft. or range 120ft., one target. Hit: 2D10+4 radiant damage.   Healing Hands (1/Day). Uriel touches a creature, that creature regains 4D4 hit points.   Overwhelming Revelation (Recharge 5–6). Uriel magically creates a burst of illumination in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on a point within 120 feet of it. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 10D8 psychic damage and is stunned until the end of Heian's next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't stunned.     BONUS ACTIONS   Radiant Soul (1/Day). For 1 minute, Uriel sprouts two luminous, spectral wings, gaining a fly speed equal to his walking speed. Additionally, once per turn, Uriel deals an extra 4 radiant damage to one target when he deals damage with an attack or spell.

Reactions

Portent (3/Day). When Uriel or a creature he can see makes an attack roll, a saving throw, or an ability check, Uriel rolls a D20 and chooses whether to use that roll in place of the D20 rolled for the attack roll, saving throw, or ability check.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Uriel is part of a famous aasimar family who, in the wake of The Confluence and the growing prejudice towards plane-touched citizens, founded a boarding house in the city of Portholme for aasimar. In the centuries that followed, the celestial blood appeared to fade from the family until Uriel was born, the first Whitehaven aasimar in over three hundred years. As he grew, Uriel became as curious about his reemerged bloodline as those around him and this curiosity only grew when Valandras, his angelic guide, began to make contact about the beginning of his adult life. Believing there to be a reason or purpose to his heritage, Uriel began to explore the art of divination in order to discover it, becoming a famous tarot card reader first before venturing into more formal magic arts. He enrolled at Faerndaar, Phrontistery of Arcana at Lorehold college, believing a greater understanding of the past would better inform what he sought from the future. These days, he works alongside Archmage Korfel, attempting to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of divination and foresee the future of the continent. Though this path was not his original intent when pursuing the art of divination, he has become Concordia's expert on the subject and now believes this may have been Valandras' purpose for his celestial blood all along.
