Personal history

Laucian is the current elder of Caer Carden and head of the Ostroloth family. This is surprising to most given his relevtively young age for a half-elf at the patriarchal pisiton of his family. Laucian gain his position after the death of his mother, father and grand-father, who all died from a disease which spead through the family.
As elder, Laucian is incredibly passive, opting to endulge int he pleasures his position givesn him while taskign his subordinates with the finer details of maintaining the city. He has no desire to reclaim Wildwood, only to see that the city is defended well enough to allow him to continue enjoying the comforts he has grown so accustomed to. He is dismissive and passive aggressive, but is able to put on a face when it becomes necessary to make a public appearence. The city's view on him though is that of potential. Being the youngest elder in living memory, many hope he will make proactive change in the city (though that may be a pipe dream).
