Personal history

Profit is a savvy and high-ranking member of The Silver Hand, who oversees the city's black market scene. They have been in this position for many years now had have become incredibly adept at hiding the guild's dealing in plain sight, though careful bribery, false identities and the occasional scapegoat. Despite their skills and devotion to the guild, Profit has come to the point in their life where they want to make enough money retire from a life of crime and steel down somewhere far away from Shawcross. 
Recently, Profit came into contact with a cult of Zehir, the cloaked Serpent, based in Norford. There, they discovered they cult were attempting to summon a molydeus (a wolf-and-snake-headed servant of their god) in order to develop more potent poisons to use in their rituals. The cult intended to summon this creature using a Spell Scroll of Gate, however, knowing the value a scroll like this had, Profit stole it from under their noses. They are now looking to sell it on the black market for 20,000GP, allowing her to retire from her position in The Silver Hand and live like royalty for the rest of her days.
