Personal history

Rolen originally comes from Wesdale, where he studied at the Lorehold Campus of Faerndaar, Phrontistery of Arcana. He learned about the mysteries of Wildwood during his final year of study and instantly knew this was where he wanted to take his research skills once he graduated. He saved his money work in the city before travelling to Caer Carden, where he purchased property and begun his reseach. Rolen attempts two of his own trips into the forest, but quickly discovered it was far too dangerous for him to do this alone. He begun to hire adventurers to help him complete his field research, offering them gold or magic items in return. This began to prove successful and Rolen made an arrangement with The Enlightned Nexus in Easthaven to help him fund more of these trip in exchange for copys of his research and access to recovered items.
Rolen has a shy character, but is deeply knowledgable in his areas of expertise. He struggles with social anxiety, but everntually warms to people the more he gets to know them. He is fully commited to uncovering the secrets of Wildwood and regualrly proclaims he shall not leave the city until his research is complete.
