Inmortui
Known on Avalon as The Inmortui, these semi-corporeal beings are the lost souls of the dead of both Albion and Anima that have been welcomed to Avalon rather than wandering the earth in misery forever.
Cridhe’s Kiss created the first of the Inmortui in Albion when Cridhe Loch Fae brought Mathghamhan Sauvage I back from the furthest edge of death and gave him a chance to earn a second life. They are among the earliest of Avalon’s founding cultures.
The Inmortui live in the neighboring holy city of Terremorte where they live comfortable but ascetic half-lives and take virtue names like Sancta and Restitue to signify their journey to attempt to earn a second chance at life.
