Cridhe’s Kiss created the first of the Inmortui in Albion when she brought Mathghamhan back from the furthest edge of death and gave him a chance to earn a second life. During the holy period of Alamort during the month of Cathasach, adults and children alike build poppets and effigies of Cridhe, kiss them, and then take them to the Offing of Lumieres Mortes to be burnt as an effigy or tied to a stone and drowned in memory of the Uxores Mortis and all Anima who were tried as witches in the mortal world.
