Issoire Rocaille Phaeic (a.k.a. The Dusk King)
"Paraselenism founder and leader of the Phaeic Issoire Rocaille Phaeic was born in 5982 RF/ED to Rocaille and Torrentine Phaeic of Starling alongside younger siblings Ianthine, Illuvium, and Incarnadine. The Phaeic family was well known in the idyllic city of Starling-Faintree, often found in their home on the banks of the river Starling where it connects and subsequently mixes seamlessly with its sister river, Faintree. By all accounts the first 18 years of Issoire’s life were so filled to brimming with simple pleasures and the teachings of Ecclesia Organica that they bordered upon the divine, but this period of his life would come to an end on 11 Cathasach, 6000 when the eruption of Feall Siorai known thereafter as I Fortufacuit (Common trans. “The Forfeit”) would usher in an era of personal tragedy with the ability to fundamentally make or break the young man."Canoness Bersatrix Pestle

Personal history
Issoire began writing his freshman effort, the paraselenist scripture Following the False Moon, after the natural tragedy of I Fortifacuit ravaged Broceliande and his childhood home of Starling-Faintree. 18 year old Issoire lost his entire family to the violent effects of the eruption and ultimately began walking across Broceliande in search of a place untouched by the flames of Feall Siorai. According to Issoire, though he could not see through the gloom to find the guiding light of Caliban overhead, he could see the gleam of another, further star each day at what he could best approximate as dusk. Issoire began to mark his days by his False Moon, sleeping through the hours of Caliban’s domain and waking each evening to travel by the light of the Dusk Star.
Eventually Issoire’s blind faith paid off and he found himself on the threshold of the forest of Le Venin, where he watched his first sunrise in 4 months. His work did not stop there, however - Issoire was so moved by the steady guidance of the eerie green star the day had completely obscured for so long that he continued his travels, telling the citizens of Le Venin of his harrowing journey under the watchful eye of Vektor Collapsearre Fuil Na Realtai, Racine of the Endless Dark…and the Dusk.
As he told his tale, more and more found hope in his words and his devout belief. For every village he walked into, Issoire exited with two or ten or twenty villagers in search of new joy post-Forfeit. For a thousand years Issoire and his Phaeic walked the lands of Anima with only that which they could carry on their backs, moving from dusk to dusk in search of meaning. When the Racine and Pelerine decided to offer a gift to their children in the form of the bejeweled city of Burgess, the Dusk Star himself created a bridge for the Phaeic to cross between Anima and Albion as the seasons willed their walking so he might continue spreading his message of light in the dark.
