Pitic (PIT-ick, Pit-EEK)
The Pitic (Common trans. "Veins of Ore") were created by Racine Balestriere na Réaltaí-Riviere in the latter third of the Éirí na Gréine/L'ere de L'aube era of Anima - it is said that they began as molten rodiu (Common trans. "white hot", see also: róidiam) drawn from the very veins of Feall Síoraí at the height of The Reckoning's terrible power. As a race, Pitic are a traditionally diminutive race with figures similar to those of Mortelle men, often with a proclivity for cuisine, mining, rockcraft, and jewelcraft.
There are 4 distinct subvariations of Pitic:
- Pitic (High Blood)
- Gnom (Gnome)
- Omulsor (Halfling)
- Micutii (“The Tinies”)
