A year after the Battle of Gilganis, Aajfe Christobel An Locha and her people have sought refuge in the mountains of Gilganis, hidden in caves that flow throughout the terrain. Magner Mallacht draws her out with his “gift” of her deceased brother and sister in law.

A year after the Battle of Gilganis, Aajfe Christobel An Locha and her people have sought refuge in the mountains of Gilganis, hidden in caves that flow throughout the terrain. Magner Mallacht draws her out with his “gift” of her deceased brother and sister in law. The battle lasts weeks before her forces are outnumbered and her people massacred. Before her death, Aajfe Cristobel entrusts the Relic to her familiar, an owl named HigHam, to be delivered to Aleydis Lake. It is shot down by an arrow over the Starling and Faintree rivers. The Relic is seemingly lost. Magner Mallacht is not sighted for quite some time after the bloody campaign that wiped out all of Gilganis.
