Known interchangeably in Broceliande as Éirí na Gréine, this era represents the founding of the sister societies of Anima and the earliest beginnings of the High Houses of Anima.
Founded by Peeress Riguardata Sauvage I and Queen Aafje An Locha I in the haze of an oncoming storm due to continual encroachment of hapless mortals with a taste for conquest, the Sealgaírí Fola (or, “blood hunters”) soon become the elite warriors of Brocéliande.
Fought against mortal Manx king Orgetorix of Caer Llion, this battle represents the first major partnership between the high houses of Brocéliande and Avalon in combat as well as the first outing of Sealgaírí Fola and Uxores Mortis.
Following the founding of House Serous in 11 LL, the Sisterhood of the Nine is formed: a combination of women from all the high houses of Avalon come together to serve as the council and guiding force for the enthroned queens of Anima.
The patrilineal Guthanna bloodline stemming from the Uxores Mortis-Guthsnna-Astrigh Cruth union of Anima begins on 11 Moribund, 32 RF with the wedding of King Costetine de Dhá Domhan I of Broceliande and King Consort Mordred Le Fay Sauvage I of Avalon, followed by the magically-induced birth of their children.
Mathghaman Le Fay Sauvage II, son of Mathghaman Sauvage and Modwenna Le Fay Sauvage, officially founds the polytheistic religion of Cridheism after Cridhe Loch Fae, the mother of all unliving in Anima and Albion beyond.
Known interchangeably in Broceliande as Gan Stad, this era is hallmarked primarily by the decades-long Magner Conflicts and Anima's participation in the Apostasy ritual, notably alongside Camelot.
Magaidh Dorcha Magner Bane Mallacht makes his presence known after rumours spread of a darkness seeping into Avalon and Broceliande. Cast the Sleeping Sickness of Aisling Milis using melted malicorn as a spellcasting focus and trapped several Essians and Avalonians who drank from water other than the pure water of the Lake in their own dream space - the malicorn made the curse so strong that many slept to death over the course of several years.
Enraged by his failure, Manger Mallacht sets out to take the city of Chanteur, securing a major foothold for him in Avalon and a tactic to draw out Aajfe by killing her brother Kiaan Lumiere An Locha and his wife Arifa Songbird, the Lady of Chanteur.
A year after the Battle of Gilganis, Aajfe Christobel An Locha and her people have sought refuge in the mountains of Gilganis, hidden in caves that flow throughout the terrain. Magner Mallacht draws her out with his “gift” of her deceased brother and sister in law.
Days turn into years and years into decades as the people begin to heal from the death and destruction left behind by Magner Mallacht. Many believed that retrieval of the relic was all that he desired, until another sleeping sickness befell the realms.
Final Battle against Magner Mallacht
Aided by a mysterious black unicorn, Magner Mallacht and his army of flesh homunculi hold out under siege by the combined forces of the Uxores Mortis, Guthanna An Domhain, and Sealgaírí Fola for 2 days before Magner weakens and 3 years to the day from the tragic events of Phiala Mathilde, Guthanna Aleydis Lake strikes a killing blow with the weapon given to her by the recently deceased Mathilde Durand. Magner succumbs to his wounds on the moors of L’Entre-Deux. The malicorn vanishes upon his death and is not seen again for several years.
