An Riomh (The Reckoning)
Disaster / Destruction
The first truly devastating eruption of Feall Síoraí creates the holy city of Tur Spoondrift and a highly acidic lake in its shadow during the tragedy known as
An Ríomh but at the time the area is populated primarily by Inmortui, Animortui, and Laibhe who go largely unharmed. The supercontinent known as Anima splinters apart, sending Avalon into the sky while Broceliande remains on the ground. The region suffers for several years following the eruption but eventually the razed earth heals and the land of Anima forgets the fury of the volcano, save the Laibhe themselves who tend tirelessly to its needs.
The eruption was the largest in recorded Animist history and one of largest since the birth of the supercontinent of Anima itself. The eruption led to global temperature instability and worldwide harvest failures caused what came to be known as the Ba Blianta Codánaithe (Common trans. The Fractionated Years) of 874-877. Huge storms and abnormal rainfall with flooding of Anima's major rivers (including the Alluvion) are attributed to the event in the modern day, as is the incredibly early Ostosian frost.
