4.18.20 Report

General Summary

The party delved further into the lair of the goblins.... and came face to face with a family unit of hobgoblins. After Ilfera led a tense negotiation, the party paid the hobgoblins a modest fee (10 gp) and withdrew from the cavern. Who would have known how handy it would be to learn hobgoblin? Knowledge wins the day.

Later, the party explored a new cavern. After climbing up the escarpment, a short exploration (of a decaying head filled entry way) orcs were spotted. Full of vim and vigor, the party charged into the two orcs which quickly became 4. Minutes later, the party was surprised by a hoard of orcs flooded in form the other passage ways. The party clawed their way into the orc guard post and looked into the magical mists of the hall... which has become too quiet.

Not further knowledge of the culists has been gained. There was a glimmer of hope when the severed heads were found. Now it seems that it may just be the trophies of an orc tribe.
