CAMP Session 21

A Part of CAMP Included in CAMP Notes Full   A part of CAMP Year One   CAMP Session 21

House Background: The house once belonged to a Leonin warlord. The city rebelled against him in an attempt to become an economic powerhouse.
Supernatural Experience: A lock causes Murium to experience a vision of a burning cross in his mind. The Leonin warlord had a wife and at least two children.
House Interior: The building is very luxurious, featuring an entertainment area with a fireplace, couches, and a formal dining area set for four, with half-empty wine glasses and an overturned chair at the head of the table. Murium touches a plate and takes cold damage, discovering it is magically cold.
Upstairs: There are six rooms, including a library with a shiny door near the end. The door is locked and tells the story of a woman who came from nothing and became a powerful man’s wife. She vowed to protect her children, and her arcane formulas symbolize her love. The cipher reveals her regret for failing her family. The last lock represents her final moments protecting the door. In the middle of the chamber is a necklace resembling a flower. Upon stealing it, an intense sadness and a vision of a female Leonin are felt.
Documents and Deeds: Numerous land deeds, including ownership of a block behind the bar where Theo’s father works, are found. There are documents indicating money being funneled through a bank to purchase more land.
Book Discovery: A book titled “Breaking the Bonds, Overcoming a Pact of the Fiend” by Midas Narkissos is found. It's half biography, half self-help, detailing Midas’ past as a warlock (pact of the fiend) and his emotional struggle to transition to arcane magic. His patron was more than a companion but not a friend, and Midas is portrayed as somewhat pathetic.
Children’s Rooms: The first room, a little girl’s, is filled with Leonin dolls, sunflower and princess pictures, and a beaded bracelet with carvings in Leonin that say "Kara." The next room, a little boy’s, contains a note in formal Leonin handwriting, saying, “They took daddy at dinner. Mama sent us up, but I hear them coming. They are close.” There are cufflinks with big emeralds engraved with "KGM."
Master Bedroom: The last room, entered with a sense of dread, is the master bedroom. It includes a vanity with magical pigments, a pearl necklace, and a sapphire ring.
